Regional Health & Wellness Administrator

Under the direction of the Regional Health & Wellness Director, the Regional Health & Wellness Administrator supports the Health & Wellness Division with administrative tasks for the health and wellness division. The Administrator assists with logistics and financial administration and provides direct daily support to the Health & Wellness Director and staff. This position is full-time until March 31, 2027, and subject to funding availability thereafter.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a health-related or administrative field, OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Two years of experience in administrative support roles
  • Ability to support the management of a financial budget
  • Experience in the preparation of service agreements and contracts
  • Knowledge and experience with computer software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sage Simply Accounting financial reports
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently under deadlines
  • Expertise in communicating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders including communities, universities, contractors, and government
  • Indigenous organization experience is an asset
  • Ability to communicate in Dene Zhatie is an asset

This position offers a benefits package & pension plan, including paid leave and VTA, upon completion of probation. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. A detailed job description is available upon request.
