Post Secondary

Overview

DFN’s ISET Program partners with post-secondary students and primary funders by providing top-ups to tuition, books and living allowances. Students provide acceptance letters, educational assistance received from other sources, educational budgets, and completed ISET Program post-secondary application form. The ISET Program assesses each application on a case by case basis. It is in the student’s best interest to provide all required information.

ISET Program top-ups are meant to add to a student’s financial resources. Students can contribute to their education through summer employment, part-time employment, savings, and careful planning. Students should save money for tuition, books, travel, rent and food for six weeks. This will ensure that students have enough available funds until primary funding is received. The ISET Program is a secondary source of funding.

All ISET Program funded programs must be labour market driven. This means at the end of all programs, the client must be employed and provide ISET Program staff with employment information.
