Regional Health and Wellness Programmer

Dehcho First Nations (DFN) is seeking a Regional Health and Wellness Programmer who reports to the Regional Health and Wellness Programs Manager. The programmer is responsible for establishing and coordinating regional health and wellness programs and supporting DFN organizations in their programming needs. This job opening is limited to residents of Fort Simpson.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Diploma in a health-related field
2. Two years’ experience in a related field
3. Experience in preparing financial and other written reports
4. Experience in preparing service agreements and contracts
5. Proficient understanding of Sage Simply Accounting financial reports
6. Capable of budget administration
7. Expertise in communicating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders including communities, universities, contractors, and government
8. Valid Class 5 driver’s license
9. Ability to speak Dene Zhatie an asset
