Dehcho First Nations (DFN) is partnering with DFN-Aboriginal Aquatic Resource & Oceans Management (AAROM), and Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) to host the 2025 Youth Ecology & Traditional Knowledge Camp. We are seeking 10 Youth (Ages 12-15 Years Old) who are interested in learning about the land from a Dene perspective and modern science perspective.
Youth will have the opportunity to work with traditional knowledge holders, Dene Zhatíe Language mentor, learn about forest ecology and water science with WLU.
Travel, Meals and Accommodations will be covered for DFN members. DFN members will be prioritized.
