2021 Dehcho K’éhodi Gathering
Information regarding the 2021 Dehcho K’éhodi Gathering can be found here:
- The Dehcho K’éhodi Gathering will be an IN-PERSON GATHERING from December 15th to 17th, 2021 hosted in Fort Simpson, NT
- A Virtual Option will be provided for those who cannot attend in-person
- We have a Maximum Capacity of 100 Delegates/Staff who can attend the Gathering, so prior registration is required
- There are 3 Delegates per Community/Nation: Resource Management Staff/Leadership (1), Elder (2), and a Youth (3)
- Some additional Members may be invited depending on their involvement in Dehcho K’éhodi-related work
- A Youth-Focused Engagement Session is being planned
- All Delegates are encouraged to share and engage with the discussions and presentations, and come prepared with Community-based inquiries/concerns
- Proof of Vaccination WILL BE REQUIRED due to policies of the Venue and Gatherings as directed by the current Public Health Orders by the CPHO
- Social distancing will be expected and masks required when less than 6 feet a part (PPE and Signage will be provided – please bring your own mask, water bottle, coffee mug, and pens/notepads)
- Visitors will NOT be permitted to attend due to capacity limits and our concerns and commitment to keeping the region safe during Covid-19
