Alberta Tar Sands Watch - As most of you know, the mega tar sands developments in Alberta are generating serious environmental and social damage and have serious impacts on the Dehcho. In collaboration with several Albertan, the Dehcho First Nations and national support organizations, the Polaris Institute of Ottawa, with input from the DFN, has been callinged for a moratorium on expansion of the Alberta tar sands especially due to the impact on the Dehcho's water and environment from the Athabasca tar sands. Check out the new website at www.tarsandswatch.org and there you will see one of the links is reserved for the Dehcho.
